A truck conveying 40 ft container was intercepted by The Federal Operations Unit of the Nigeria Customs Service today along the mile 2 road Apapa, Lagos.
The truck which supposedly was carrying still doors, was actually conveying 49 boxes containing 661 Ak 47 pump- action riffles. The News Agency Of Nigeria, NAN reports that it entered the country through The Lagos port.
The comptroller- General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Retired Col. Hammed Ali has said that investigation was going on and some arrests have been made.
