The Nigerian author who wrote many great books especially on women died at her home in London yesterday January 25th. Most of her books such as The Second Class Citizen , The Bride Price The Joys Of Motherhood are widely read, especially in many African countries.
Onyebuchi Emecheta was born in Lagos and moved to London in 1960.
