Woman Who Sued Johnson Powder Wins $110million Lawsuit

The 62-year-old woman, Lois Slemp, who sued Johnson & Johnson baby powder for allegedly developing ovarian cancer after several years of using the product has been granted a record breaking compensation of $110.05million
by a judge in a high -profile court case in Louis, United States,Toronto Star reports.

Slemp, who could not attend the trial because she was too weak to do so, said through a videotape,
"I trusted Johnson & Johnson. Big mistake."

After sprinkling her body with the product which contains talc after 40 years, (the effect of talc an ingredient in the product is the issue being debated), cancer that was first diagnosed in 2012 continued to spread through her body.
