Gabon striker Pierre -Emerick Aubameyang's late penalty for Borussia Dortmund at the final day of the season gave him the opportunity to finish as the Bundesliga's top scorer with 31 goals.
Aubameyang's two goals helped Dortmund beat Werder Bremen 4-3. The opener came three minutes before the break and the second from the spot in the 89th minute.The 27-year-old striker becomes the second African player to win the golden boot in Germany after Tony Yeboah of Ghana who won it twice while playing for Eintracht- Frankfurt -in 1992-93 season and 1993-94 season.
Borussia Dortmund finished third in the Bundesliga after their win over Werder Bremen and are guaranteed an automatic spot in the Champions League group stage.
