'Pastor' With Human Skull Arrested In Ibadan

Police in Ibadan, Oyo State, has apprehended a self acclaimed 'pastor' and founder  of the C&S Idapomimo Zion, located at Alagbado, Lagos who was found with dry human skull,  buffalo horns and charms.

The 55 -year -old suspect, Alimi Isaiah,  was arrested by operatives of the Federal Highway Patrol of the Oyo State Police Command around 10.30 pm on Thursday, while he was on his way to another branch of the church in Imini, via Ijaiye in Afijio Local Government  of Oyo, State, Vanguard reports.

During interrogation at the Eleyele, Ibadan, Police station, the suspect, who was dressed in white robe when he was arrested, confessed that all the items were found on him, including gun powder, a Nissan Primera car and other charms .

According to him, he was consulted by some residents of Imini at Ijaiye, Oyo state, who asked him to help check incessant robbery attack in the area. He however consulted an old man who advised him to get a human skull and other items which would be buried in the area to keep the robbers away.

"My dad is a juju man (herbalist). I was on my way to Ijaiye when  I was stopped by some policemen  who searched my bag and found a piece of paper which contains my spiritual notes and instructions on how to use the charms.

They were trying to read it and I immediately stopped them from doing so. My reaction must have raised some suspicion, they searched further into my bag and discovered more items.So they took me to the police station.
" I only wanted to help my clients by burying the skull in the area." he said
