Australian Politician Sets The Pace By Being The First To Feed Her Baby In Parliament

An Australian Senator, Larissa Waters, has set the pace for politicians and women all over the world by being the first politician to breastfeed her baby, while in the parliament.


The 40-year -Old mother from the left -wing Greens party, happily fed her two-month-Old daughter, Alia Joy, making her the first baby to be breastfed in parliament.

"We need more women and parents in parliament", she later posted on Facebook.

"Women are going to continue to have babies and if they want to do their job and be at work and look after their baby... the reality is we are going to have to accommodate that," she told Sky News.
