According to the World Health Organisation, (WHO), 155 million children under the age of five have stunted growth and most of them are said to live in low
and middle income countries.
Stunted growth along with childhood infections and illnesses are associated with poor nutrition.
A six -month study carried out in Ecuador has revealed that an egg a day might help young children who are undernourished attain a healthy height as they grow.
The first two years of a child'd formative years are very important for growth and development and any stunting at this age could be irreversible.
Eggs whether boiled, fried or whisked should be given to young children in order to give them the much need boost.
