London: Van Rams Into Muslim Worshippers Near Finsbury Park Mosque

At least one person has been reported dead and no fewer than eight people injured in north London as a van rammed into Muslim worshippers who were leaving a mosque
after the evening prayers, BBC reports.

A  48-year-old man who drove the van has been arrested.

The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) claim the van intentionally ploughed into the crowd.

Prime Minister Theresa May has condemned the attack and said the Police will treat it as a "potential terrorist attack".

Describing it as a terrible attack, she said "All my thoughts are with those who have been injured, their loved ones and the emergency Services on the scene."
