Man Dangles A Child From A 15th Floor Window Just To Get 'Likes' On Facebook!

A man has bagged a two- year jail term from an Algerian court, after he was seen dangling a baby out of a 15th floor window in order
to get 'likes' on Facebook.

  The man posted a horrifying picture of himself holding a baby out of a window in what seem to be a high-rise building and caption it: "1,000 likes or I will drop him."

The man who is a relative of the child was apprehended and charged with endangering the baby's safety after  social media users demanded his arrest for child abuse.

News site Al Arabiya reported that the child was dangled out of the 15th-floor window of an apartment block in the capital, Algiers.

The man,claimed that the image was altered by social media users and denied putting the child's life at risk,according to Algeria's privately owned Ennahar Tv.

"The picture was taken in a balcony with protective barriers. These were removed," he was quoted as saying.

The father of the child pleaded with the court to pardon the man, explaining  that he was just playing a game.

However, the judge ruled against him, saying the picture was clear and the child's life was put at risk.
