Just as other Arab nations are distancing themselves from Qatar, Egypt and Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are closing airspace with Qatari planes increasing diplomatic row.

Seven countries have already cut ties with Qatar after accusing it of backing terrorism in the gulf region.

The country denies supporting militants and its foreign minister is seeking dialogue with other Arab nations.

Qatari nationals in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirate have been given a two weeks ultimatum to leave.

Egypt announced it was shutting its airspace to Qatar from Tuesday "until further notice."

The affected airlines include, Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways.
