British Student Stabbed To Death In Jerusalem

Hannah Bladon, a 21-year -old university of Birmingham student was stabbed to death today, in Jerusalem.


The BBC reports that, Ms Bladon was stabbed in the chest severally, while she travelled in a tram in Tzahal Square, and later died in the hospital.

A 57- year old Palestinian man was held at the scene of the incident.

She was on an exchange at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which has expressed regret over her death.
Ms Bladon was taking classes in  bible classes, Hebrew and archaeology at the Rothberg International School, part of The Hebrew University.

Police say the 57-year old suspect was just released from a psychiatric hospital and was "very mentally disturbed."
