Presidency Recalls Expelled Reporter

Punch  reporter, Olalekan Adetayo, who was expelled from reporting at Aso Rock, by the Chief Security Officer (CSO), to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Abubakar, has been
recalled to duty by the presidency, few hours after the decision was made.

According to Leadership, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, disclosed that the decision to reverse the expulsion , was made by the Director General, Directorate of State Services(DSS), Alhaji Lawal Daura.

Recall, that the Punch reporter was expelled from Aso rock by the CSO to the President over an  article on the President's health which were published by Punch, on Sunday, April 23.

Punch, published the article titled "Fresh Anxiety At Aso Rock over Buhari's Health" and the other  which was published on 22 April, " Seat of Power's Event Centres Going Into Extinction."
