Business: Guaranty Trust Bank To Open Branch In Tanzania

The Managing Director of Guaranty Trust bank, (GTBank) Plc, Mr. Segun Agbaje has disclosed that the bank intends opening a branch in
Tanzania this month as part of its expansion plans outside the country.
According to the MD, the bank would continue to pursue innovative plan and creative strategy in order to keep it above the economic challenges in the country.

The Tanzanian branch would be the bank's 10th outside the country.

Agbaje, further disclosed that GTBank's customer base has grown from 5 million to 10 million in the last five years.
