Ikoyi House Where $50m Dollars Was Found Belongs To Former PDP Chairman

Mohammed Adamu Mu' azu,  Ex- Governor of Bauchi State, has admitted ownership of  the house in ( 16, Osborne Road, Ikoyi), where the sum of $50million was recovered  by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC).


According to Sahara Reporters, the former Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Chairman, had earlier denied owning the property but later admitted ownership through his London based -aide, Akin Oyegoke via a telephone conversation with Sahara Reporters' correspondent.

 EFCC Operatives had on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, stormed 16,Osborne Towers, owned by  Mu'azu, following  a tip -off by a whistle blower.
The raid led to the recovery of the sum of $50million in an apartment in the Tower.

The money recovered were in pounds, dollars and Naira and allegedly, belongs to Mrs Esther Nnamdi -Ogbue, an ex- MD of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

Mrs Nnamdi, has however denied ownership of the recovered money.
