Prosecutors in Russia had earlier claimed that the religious group of about 175,000 followers promote hatred, destroys families and threatens lives, particularly through their publications which has also been placed on ban.

The Court has asked the group to suspend its activities in St Petersburg, and also the building which serves as the Headquarters has also been seized.
The group has been given 30 days to appeal the judgement.
