Paris Shooting: Marine Le Pen Calls For Closure Of Mosques In France

Following the attack on a police bus in Paris, France, which left one policeman dead and another wounded, on Thursday, Marine Le Pen, the far -right presidential candidate has called
for the closure of mosques in France.

The Prime Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, accused her of trying to capitalize on the situation for political motive.

CNN reports that the assailant, was a 39-year-old French national with a long criminal record. He was shot dead as he tried to escape after shooting the policeman. A note defending ISIS was found on him.
As France heads to the polls tomorrow, for the first round of the presidential elections, security has been beefed up to ensure the smooth sail of the process in and around France.
