Man Utd created many chances that could have seen them winning with ease but they just couldn't convert those chances. Defender Marcos Rojo was injured at the first half while top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovich sustained a serious looking knee- injury at the end o f normal time.
United, could have settled for a penalty shootout to decided the game but for Marcus Rashford's 107 minutes goal, which saw the United boys moving to the Semi Finals.
The Europa League creates the route to qualify for the Champions League, away from the battle for top -four places in the Premier League.
