Love Or Hate, Pretty Kenyan Lady Strangled To Death By Her Lover

Irene Kananu, a HR officer in chemical company Henkel, in industrial area, kenya, was gruesomely murdered.

Kananu was allegedly strangled to death by Abdulkarim Njoroge, a 25-year-old college student in Kahawa Wendani after which he stuffed her remains in a fridge.

According to Kenyan Daily Post, Kananu's sister who noticed that her phones had been off for some days, reported at Kimbo police station on April 3.

The police after investigations, found Kananu's body naked in her house, with her head stuffed inside a fridge while her legs and hips sticking out.

The lovers were said to have frequently had quarrels over infidelity.\

Njoroge, after the murder, withdrew Ksh.40,000 from Kananu's Mpesa account and fled with her car  to Mombasa. He was however arrested by the police after hunting for him for 2 weeks.

Irene Kananu has been  laid to rest and her funeral mass was held on April 10.
