President Bashar Al- Assad of Syria says that the reports of use of chemical weapon by his forces on civilians living in the rebel- held town of Khan Sheikhoun are untrue.
According to the BBC, Assad says the reports were "100% fabricated" as "there were no order to make any attack."
Reports in the media, had it that no fewer than 70 people were killed on April 4, mainly women and children and several others affected by the chemical, many were seen foaming in the mouth, obviously from the effect of a certain chemical.
President Assad has accused the West of making up the reports in Khan Sheikhoun, so as to have an excuse to strike the government's airbase with missiles which has already taken place.
