ISIS Suspect Deported To Nigeria From Germany

A 22- year old man , alleged to be an Islamic extremist and an ISIS suspect, has been deported from Germany to Nigeria.


The 22-year- old is a German citizen but of Nigerian descent according to German News Agency, dpa, and arrived  Lagos on Thursday.

The man together with his 27- year -old  Algerian partner were detained in Goettingein in February during an investigation of suspected attack plans, both lived with their parents in Gottingen.

Two weapons, at least one of them a firearm that had been altered to fire live ammunition were discovered with them when they were picked up by investigators.

Also, found with them were ammunition and flags of the Islamic State group and a machete.

The two men, were arrested after being under surveillance for a while and the man deported to Nigeria is banned from entering Germany.
