Militants Who Killed Police, Army Captain Will Be Arrested- Lagos CP

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has vowed that the militants responsible for the death of four policemen , an Army Captain and a civilian in Yewa Ishawo area of Ikorodu, Lagos, would be arrested.


Gunmen suspected to be Militants stormed the area at the early hours of Sunday, to abduct some residents but they met resistance from security operatives.

The kidnap victims were rescued but four policemen, an Army Captain and a civilian, however lost their lives.

In reaction to the incident, Owoseni in a statement on Sunday, said all hands are on deck, by the State Police Command together with other sister security operatives in the State to ensure  the militants are apprehended and made to face the full wrath of the law.
