President Buhari Sends Condolence Message To Families Of Electrocuted Man U Fans

President Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed sadness over the tragic death of no fewer than 30 young Nigerians, who lost their lives in a football viewing center in Calabar, Cross River State, Thursday night.

The football fans were electrocuted after a high tension wire fell on them while watching the Europa quarter final match between  Manchester United and RSC Anderlecht, yesterday, in a viewing center in Calabar.

In a condolence message signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari commiserates with the government and people of Cross River State, and football fans nationwide over the unfortunate incident.

Buhari, offers his deepest condolence to the families and friends of the victims and commends the effort of the State Government in reaching out to the victims and their families.

He also prays that God Almighty will grant  their soul eternal rest and comfort all that mourns them.
