The award for best pictures which was meant for Moonlight, the winner, was mistakenly given to La La Land .
Within the presentation... of awards, stars at the Oscar including the host, Jimmy Kimmel used the opportunity to mock and express their dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump.
The President has replied saying "I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn't get the act together at the end".
"It was a little sad. It took away from the glamour of the Oscars. It didn't feel like a very glamorous evening. I've been to the Oscars. There is something very special missing and then to end that way was sad."
