NURTW Tells Members Not To Panic Over Proposed Ban Of Yellow Buses In Lagos

The State Chairman of The National Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Mr. Tajudeen Agbede
has asked its members not to panic over the proposed ban of "danfo" buses on Lagos roads by the State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Governor Ambode on February 6, had said the State was making plans to remove the commercial buses popularly called "danfo" from Lagos roads for a more efficient, well- structured and world -class  mass transport system.
According to NAN, Mr Agbede said the Union was discussing  the proposed ban with the government, adding that the union is ready to cooperate with the state government on its mega city plan.
