Osun State University Reveals Plan To Expel 4000 Students

Over 4,000 students are to be expelled from Osun State University, Osogbo, according to the management of the school.
Professor Labode Popola, The Vice Chancellor,said
the student owed the university a backlog of school fees amounting to N2 billion.
The Acting Registrar Gafar Shittu, said any student who failed to pay the tuition fee before the February 28, 2017 deadline would no longer be considered a student of the university.
He also said parents of the defaulting students have called the university helpline to report that they had long given the school fees to their children.
"Students who cannot meet up with the deadline and still want to remain a student of the university may apply in writing to the school authorities for a leave of absence for the current semester with a sworn affidavit, pledging to make payment before resumption from the leave of absence.
