The Russian Ambassador to the United Nations, Vitaly Ivanovich Churkin died suddenly in New York on Monday, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The Ambassador suffered a heart attack while at the Russian Mission and was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital were he died. He was aged 64 and died a day before his 65th birthday.
