Directors Of NCAA Relieved Of Their Appointments - FG

No fewer than 10 directors of The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, have been unexpectedly relieved of their appointments, yesterday, by the federal government.

The directors, have been advised to stay away from their duty post as they await their official sack letters. Virtually all the directors were affected except the Director General Capt. Usman Muhtar.
The affected directors are Eng Benedict Adeyileka (Director of Air worthiness), Mr. Justus Wariya (Director of Air Transport Regulation), Alh. Adamu Abdullahi (Director of consumer protection),
Capt. Ayodele Sasegbon (Director of General Aviation), Mr. Austin- Amadi Ifeanyi (Director of Human Resources).
The rest are Alh. Salawu Ozigi ( Director of Finance and Accounts), Dr Joyce Nkemakolam (Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standard), Barr Aba Ejembi (Director of Administration) and  Mr Emmanuel Ogunbambi (Director of Licensing)
The General Manager Public Affairs, NCAA, Mr Sam Adurogboye confirmed the sack in a telephone conversation. However, he did not give further details, but only said that the affected directors were all political appointees.
