Bodies Of 87 Migrant Africans Washed Ashore In Libya



Bodies of African Migrants who were trying to cross the Mediterranean to Italy were washed ashore in another drowning disaster in the city of Zawiya, Libya.

Some of the bodies found included those of children, Libyan red cross workers who discovered the bodies say more bodies are being expected because the boats used to cross the Mediterranean, usually carries about 120 people.
Migrants death have been on the increase recently, with so many people losing their lives through this risky route. The authorities say the bodies will be taken to the cemetery for unidentified people in Tripoli, the Libyan Capital.
The UN Migration agency, says the boat had left Libya on Saturday with 110 people on board.
