German Archealogist And Colleague Abducted In Kaduna

A  German professor of Archaeology, Peter Breunij together with his colleague Johannes Buringer were abducted yesterday at Jenjela village in
Kagarko local government area of  Kaduna state, by unknown gunmen. Kagarko is a few kilometers away from Nigeria Capital city Abuja.
The professor who led a team of four from the university of Frankfurt, Germany, was working in collaboration with the National Commission For Museum and Monuments and other institution on the relic of Nok culture in Nigeria.
The gunmen left the other team members from Germany who were females during the abduction.
The Nigerian Police has immediately swung into action, an Anti -kidnap squad and a special force deployed by the Inspector -General of Police for Southern Kaduna, Ibrahim Idris. together with the villagers are already working towards rescuing the victims.
