White House Security Adviser, Michael Flynn Resigns

The United States National adviser on Security, Michael Flynn has resigned his appointment, Monday night after it was revealed
that he misled the Vice president, Mr. Mike Pence and other White house top officials about his conversation with the Russian Ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak  to the United States.
Mr Flynn said he gave "incomplete information|" to the white on the conversations he made over the phone with the Russian Ambassador. There are fears that Michael Flynn could be vulnerable to blackmail by Russia.  In his resignation letter, he tried to explain the reason behind his action.
" Unfortunately, because of the fast pace of events, I inadvertently briefed the Vice President Elect and others with incomplete information about my phone calls with the Russian Ambassador."
"I have apologised to the Vice President and the President and they have accepted my apology. He had worked for less than one month. Mr Flynn is to be replace with retired Lt. General Joseph Keith Kellog, Jr., who is a Vietnam veteran.
