A catholic priest was attacked by unknown gunmen in Delta state . The 73-year old priest of St. Joseph Catholic Church Okpare -Olomu Ughelli,Delta State, Very Rev. Fr. Stephen Ekakabor
was rushed to the hospital after his attackers who invaded the mission house attacked him with an axe on the head .
The priest got severe injuring on his forehead and is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.The attackers also went away with some valuable. The police say they are investigating the matter and will ensure the culprits are arrested.
