Another communal clash  erupted yesterday, in Ile -Ife Osun state, just few days after a violent clash between The
Hausa and Yoruba communities.

Vanguard reports that, the recent clash in Ife North Local Government Area was between the people from Ipetumodu and Asipa, both in Ife North area, leaving at least ten people injured and a market burnt.

The clash allegedly started, between youths from the two communities. It was reported that some youths took advantage of the dispute between students during an inter house football sport in Ipetumodu community High school, not far from Asipa to burn down  the popular Akinola  market in Asipa, an act which aggravated the clash between the two communities.
The police have been drafted to area to restore law and order.

The Market has been sited on a disputed portion of land which had led to crisis between the two communities last year before the government intervened.
