13 Unilag Students: NANS Threatens To Invade Prison

National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS has threatened to invade the Kirikiri Maximum prison, if the 13 University of Lagos Students, currently detained
are not released within 24-hours.

A Special Offences Mobil Court had on Saturday issued an order to remand 13 students of the University in the Kirikiri prison, pending their bail application.

The students are being accused of unlawful invasion of Television Continental in Lagos. They were subsequently arraigned on a two count charge of unlawful invasion and disruption of activities.
The students have pleaded not guilty of the charges.

The accused students are: Muyiwa Olaniyi, Femi Adeyeye, Kodri Yaya, Toni Aina, Toheed Oladimeji, Abiodun Abeniyi, Lukman Olusegun.

Others are: Asimi Oladime, Joseph Akanni, Ismahim Olalekan Segun Okesola, Abdulazeez Soneye, Idris Abogunloko.

The case has been adjourned till April 6 when their bail application will be determined.
