Ibadan Depot Closure May Lead To Fuel Scarcity

Image result for fuel station in nigeria

The grounding of the NNPC ( Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation) depot in Ibadan is likely to result to fuel shortage in some south west states in Nigeria namely, ( Oyo, Osun ,Ondo).

The depot, which has been shot down for about two years now has made  private depot operators the ones supplying  fuel around the region with varying prices. The independent marketers have been left at the mercy of the private operators. The outlets in these regions are likely to be shut down because the Independent marketers are unable to buy at the current market price from the private operators and many of them have run out of stock. This could lead to fuel scarcity around the region unless NNPC depot , Ibadan becomes operational.
