Protest: Heavy Police Presence On Lagos Roads.

As early as 7.00 am today, Lagos residents woke up to see an unusual Police presence, in all the strategic venues of the protest. The  National stadium which is the planned take off point was ,
filled with heavy police presence, so was the National theatre and Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojota.
Mr Tuface Idibia, initially called for a nation wide anti government protest to be held today, 6th of February but cancelled it on security grounds on Sunday. However, some groups decided to go ahead with the protest today.The police has said that their presence at the protest venues was not to prevent the protest,  but to maintain law and order.
