Louvre Attacker Says He Was Not Ordered By Any Militant Group

The man who attacked soldiers in the Louvre museum in Paris 5 days ago, 3rd of February with  machetes has told the police that he did not carry out the attack based on orders.

The 29 -year old Egyptian, Abdulla Reda al Hamahmy had attacked two soldiers who tried to stop him from bringing his backpack into the museum with machetes. The third officer shot him, he was wounded and taken to the hospital alive. Hamahmy though alive, was seriously wounded. The French President  has described it as a terrorist attack while the police say investigation will commence as soon as Hamahmy's health improves.
