The body which has been identified by the family members and the driver of the deceased, who was the last person to see him alive, was recovered today, Wednesday, March 22 at about 4pm by the Marine Police in Lagos, according to a statement by Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA.
The general Manager of LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu, also confirmed that "The body of Dr Allwell Orji was recovered today at about 4pm by the Marine Police.
"The body found has been identified and confirmed to be that of Dr Allwell Orji by members of his family including his driver in the presence of Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni.
"The body will be handed over to the family while investigation continues."
