Solomon is alleged to be responsible for many abductions in the Festac area of Lagos and its environs and uses his apartment at 46, Canal view Road as a den where he keeps the kidnapped victims.
He was traced by under cover policemen, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Olukole Oladeinde to his hideout on Tuesday.
On sighting the Police, and in an attempt to escape, he tried to stab the DPO but was overcomed. Solomon and three other members of his gangs were eventually arrested by the Police and two already abducted victims were also rescued.
The suspect, during interrogation said that he was expecting some of his kidnap gang who had gone out on operation for targeted personalities.
Some of his victims are, the female custom officer attached to the Tin Can command, SDV who according to him was abducted in the presence of her two daughters at an eatery in Festac, last December, a Pentecostal Pastor and two traders at trade fair.
