Officials of the Nigeria Immigration Services, National Emergency Management and some other relevant agencies were at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport to receive another batch of Nigerians who have just returned from Libya.

The returnees  made up of 95 females,12 girls and 76 males  were conveyed by a plane from Libya and landed in Nigeria at 4:15pm yesterday.

It would be recalled that over three hundred and fourteen Nigerians have been forced to return Back to the Country.

Abike Dabiri Erewa, Senior Special Assistant  to the President on foreign Affairs and Diaspora matters  had said last week that over 180 Nigerians were being expected from the North African country.

Some of there returnees who recounted their ordeal  said they were maltreated and had suffered unimaginable torture in  Libya and were only lucky to be alive and that many had lost their lives in the quest to cross the Mediterranean sea  to Europe  through Libya.
