North Korea Defys UN Ban, Launches Another Missiles

Image result for North Korea latest missile launch

North Korea has once again launched another missiles test, towards the sea of Japan. This time around, four missiles were launched , three of them fell into Japan's exclusive economic zone.

The type of missile has not been verified, however, North Korea had been banned by the United Nations (UN) on any form of missile test.

Japan Prime minister, Shinzo Abe  called the recent launch by North Korea "a new stage of threat."

Recall that North Korea had launched a missile test close to Japan while the Prime Minister was away  to pay the US president a visit last month which was condemned by the UN, South Korea, US and Japan.

Even though North Korea claims its space program is peaceful there are suspicions that it is developing an intercontinental ballistic missile that could strike the US.

The US military said it had detected  a launch and has determined that it did not pose a threat to North America.

The US has also condemned North Korea's ballistic missile launch in strong terms.
