I Am Not Part Of APDP, I Remanin In PDP Says Makarfi

The crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, is still lingering as the Factional chairman of the caretaker committee of  PDP, Ahmed Makarfi, yesterday said he is not part of the on going registration of Advance Peoples Democratic Party, APDP.

Some aggrieved members of The Ahmed Makarfi led faction had begun the process for the registration of a new political party with The Independent Electoral Commission , INEC, named Advanced Peoples Democratic Party.

Makarfi who has been on legal battles with Ali Modu Sheriff over the Chairmanship position of PDP ,however says he remains a PDP member and has no affiliation with Advanced Peoples Democratic Party.
