Police Arrest Fraudsters Who Impersonate As Tinubu, Saraki

The Nigeria Police has arrested four fraudster who impersonate as  top public officer in the country, using it as means to defraud people.


The suspects said their mode of operation was to register sim cards with the names of the top public officers they wanted to impersonate and then deceive then lure victims into parting away with their money.

Fourteen different phones registered with names of prominent government officials and diaries with names and phone numbers of top public personalities were recovered from them.

The alleged fraudsters who were tracked down to a luxury hotel in Kaduna by the Police intelligence response team, confessed to have realised more than N20 million  from their victims within the last six months.
