President Buhari Condemns Benue Massacre

President Buhari has condemned the recent attack on a market in Zaki Biam, Benue State which led to the loss of several lives and properties.


Gunmen reportedly attacked villagers in Zaki Biam market, yesterday around 3pm, killing many people and leaving several others injured.

The President, in a statement  via his twitter handle, condemned the attack and promised that the perpetrators will be brought to book.

"I am saddened by the recent attack by gunmen on a market in Zaki Biam, Benue State and which resulted in the loss of lives.
"I commiserate with the Government and people of Benue State. I assure that the incident will be investigated, and the perpetrators brought to justice", he said.
