Ngilari after appealing to the court, was granted bail in the sum of N100million with two sureties.
The medical report which was presented to the court from Yola prison showed that the former Governor was under medical care due to Diabetes, hypertension and insomnia.The report was signed by John Bukar, Deputy Comptroller in charge of Health.
Ngilari had been sentenced on March 6, without an option of fine by Justice Musa for violating the public procurement Act in the award of contract for the procurement of 25 vehicles.
