Cynthia Osokogu was murdered by her supposed facebook friends, the duo of Okwumo Nwabufo and Olisaeloka Ezike, on July 22, 2012 at Cosmilla Hotel , Lakeview Estate, Festac Town , Lagos.
Vanguard reports that, the trial which began February 8, 2013 came to a conclusion today after the the trial judge, Justice Olabisi Akinlade concluded that the evidence presented before the court by the State in proof of the six counts of conspiracy, murder and stealing against the accused persons was convincing enough.
Two others, Nonso the younger brother of the second defendant and Orji , the pharmacist from whose store the drug used on Cynthia was bought ,were charged for negligence.
The judge acquitted and discharged Nonso and Orji Osita.
