London: Westminister Terror Incident Leaves 5 People Dead

The attack which took place yesterday in the Houses of Parliament, London has left 5 people dead, including a policeman who was stabbed and
40 people injured.The attacker was shot dead after he stabbed the policeman with a knife.

The police officer has been identified as Keith Palmer, a 48-year old husband and father.

According to the BBC, the attacker drove past people on the west minister bridge near the Houses of Parliament, killing at least two people and injuring several others. He then proceeded to Parliament armed with a knife, where he was confronted by police Palmer who was unarmed; he was then stabbed by the attacker.

The yet to be identified attacker was then shot by armed officers.

The incident has been condemned by the Prime Minister, Theresa May. She said  the attack was a "sick and depraved" attack on the heart of the capital. Such attempt to defeat UK values were "doomed to failure."
