Nollywood: Seun Egbegbe Re-arraigned For Defrauding BDC Operators

 Nollywood Film Maker, Olajide Oluwaseun Kazeem alias Seun Egbegbe and his accomplice Oyekan Ayomide who were first arraigned in court, February 10, 2017 for defrauding BDC operators in
Lagos of the sum of N39,098,100 in dollars  and pounds have been re-arraigned in a Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos,Yesterday.

The Prosecution told the court that all the other 34 Bureau De Change operators who were also defrauded by Egbegbe and Ayomide will appear in court to give evidence against them.

Egbegbe and Ayomide had pleaded not guilty in February 10 and  Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo had granted  them of N5m each with two sureties.

In the resumed hearing yesterday, the court was informed by the prosecutor, Mr Innocent Anyigor, of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Panti,Yaba that the  two accused persons  have been accused for more charges, from 36 to 40 count charges. Egbegbe and Ayomide also pleaded not guilty.

The case has been adjourned till March 24, for commencement of trial.
