Health Workers To Commence Indefinite Nationwide Strike On Monday

The Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals (NUAHP) is set to go on an indefinite strike on Monday March 6, 2017.
NUAHP, is made up members which include dietitians,
pharmacist, physiotherapist, radiographers, optometrists, medical laboratory scientists, others include
medical physicists, health information officers, clinical psychologist, dental therapists and medical social workers.

The National Secretary of NUAHP, Ayinde Obisesan in a directive while speaking in Ibadan said
"You are hereby directed to commence on an indefinite strike action with effect from 12:01am ,Monday, 6 March 2017 until otherwise directed.

"This is sequel to the ultimate issued to the government since 20 January 2017 and the inability of the government to address our demands positively."
