In South West France, yesterday, as the French President Francois Hollande was giving a speech , a police sharpshooter caused a scare when his gun accidentally went off during a change of position, injuring two people.
The sharpshooter was positioned on a roof top some distance away from where the president was.The loud noise from the gun shot interrupted the president as he was giving the speech.
Police got the situation under control, the two injured people sustained injuries on their legs; though it was not life threatening.
