Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres has left the hospital and is in stable condition. The striker was stretched out of field and taken to the hospital after a head injury he sustained during the match between Atletico Madrid and Deportivo La Coruna(1-1) on Thursday.
An aerial challenge with Alex Bergantinos, had the 32-year old striker falling heavily and eventually being admitted to the hospital where he spent the night.
Players from both teams had to assist the former Liverpool and Chelsea striker upon the injury and had to call for medical help.
The club has confirmed that Torres is out of danger after scan shows "he has no traumatic alterations or injuries and will need to rest for 48hours."
Torres after leaving the hospital thanked his fans for caring for him.
